GENCO Awarded Defense Logistics Agency Contract Valued at up to $12.7 Million to Provide
Warehouse and Distribution Services at the Defense Distribution Depot Richmond, Virginia
PITTSBURGH, Pa. - August 21, 2007 - GENCO today announced that its subsidiary, GENCO Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. (GIS) was selected by the Defense Logistics Agency to provide warehouse and distribution services at the Defense Distribution Depot Richmond, Va. (DDRV). The contract has a base period of two years plus three one-year options and is valued at up to $12.7 million over five years.
Under the contract's scope of work, GENCO will provide distribution services, including receipt, pack, store and issue to U.S. military services and other federal government activities. Currently, DDRV stores numerous commodities in approximately six million square feet of uncovered and covered storage areas.
