GENCO Names Cary Cameron as Senior Vice President of Strategic Processes and Technologies
PITTSBURGH, Pa. - August 20, 2007 - GENCO today announced that Cary Cameron has been named a senior vice president of Strategic Processes and Technologies. In her new role, Cameron will drive GENCO's R&D technology initiatives and Six Sigma projects while enhancing GENCO's leadership position as a technology innovator within the supply chain industry. Her team will assist customers in better understanding the value of integrating cost saving processes and innovative technologies into their supply chains, including RFID, real-time location systems, voice tasking, robotics, biometrics and newer pick-to-light/put-to-light technologies, to name a few.
As a Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Cameron is responsible for identifying areas where process modifications and technology innovation can be combined to improve productivity for GENCO's customers. Cameron has 18 years of experience with GENCO in progressively responsible roles within technology development, Six Sigma, process implementation, quality assurance, operations, system setup/startup, proposal pricing and sales support. She has managed more than 150 facility implementation projects and has been responsible for analysis, testing and development of UNIX®, Micro Focus, Oracle® and Microsoft® .NET programs. She helped design and develop detailed training programs for new and existing operations and GENCO's quality assurance processes and programs that track each operation's daily, weekly, monthly and year-to-date results.
