GENCO Pharmaceutical Services maintains effective working relationships with the appropriate local, state and federal agencies and is active in industry trade associations, including the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy, the National Association of State Controlled Substances Authorities and the Healthcare Distribution Management Association (HDMA). The company's team members include the co-founder of HDMA's Returns and Recall Task Force and founding members of the Returns Industry Association, which published the first guideline for minimum federal regulatory requirements for returns processors.
