GENCO Wins Challenge to Its Government Contract Valued at up to $63.3 Million to Provide Base Operational and Maintenance Support at Fort Lee, Virginia

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - August 7, 2007 - GENCO today announced that its subsidiary, GENCO Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. (GIS) was notified by the U.S. Army Contracting Agency, that after a challenge to the initial contract award, it was selected by the Department of the Army to provide base operations and maintenance support at Fort Lee, Virginia. The contract has a base period of one year plus four one-year options and is valued at $63.3 million. GIS commenced work on August 1, 2007.

Fort Lee is situated on 5,500 acres in Virginia and has a combined 7,200 military and civilian population. It is the home of the Army Combined Arms Support Command, which is responsible for the development and evaluation of combat service support and logistics concepts, doctrine, and planning factors for the Army.

Under the contract, GIS will manage all activities and perform supply operations, transportation and equipment maintenance while its subcontractor, Advanced Federal Services, will perform facility, housing, roads, grounds and utilities maintenance.
