GENCO Chairman and CEO, Herbert S. Shear, to Receive the 2006 Distinguished Service Award from the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP)

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - October 11, 2006 - GENCO announced today that chairman and chief executive office, Herbert S. Shear, has been selected as the recipient of CSCMP's 2006 Distinguished Service Award. Mr. Shear will be honored at the 2006 CSCMP Annual Conference on October 16.

For over 40 years, CSCMP has presented its annual Distinguished Service Award (DSA), the association's highest honor, to an individual who has made significant, career-long contributions to the supply chain management and logistics professions. All individuals who have provided exemplary service to the professions are eligible for nomination.
