Supply chain analysis shows that damages regularly occur in the supply chain. In many instances, the damage is beyond the manufacturer's control. This makes it even more critical to find, understand and resolve the root cause of the damage.
GENCO does not use temps to collect data.
Here's why.
All of GENCO's field evaluators have at least 10 years of experience in warehouses. Their experience helps them notice issues a temp might not see. Our field evaluators' backgrounds help identify critical Early Action Items and allow them to interact easily with the facility management team. Simply put, their experience allows them to better perform supply chain analysis.
The first step in realizing savings from damage research is to conduct field evaluations. For 2 to 4 days GENCO's warehouse-experienced field evaluators observe, photograph and collect data. Our team witnesses product coming in, being stored, and going out of your facility. Field evaluators will even open some of containers to look for hidden damages that cannot be seen with a casual inspection.
Our field evaluators strive for a minimal impact on your operations. In many cases, you won't notice that we are there. The only exception is if we see a critical problem. We will report these Early Action Items to you immediately. In one situation, an Early Action Item saved a client money and reputation by catching damaged items as they were heading out of the warehouse.
Reporting is key in damage analysis. GENCO provides its
Rapid Field Reports to you within 10 days of a site visit. This far
surpasses the industry standard of a 4 to 6 weeks lag. Our Rapid Field Report allows you to address and
correct issues immediately. The Rapid Field Report is a key differentiator for
GENCO.

Once your data has been examined for absolute accuracy, it is available to you at anytime. GENCO offers a web-based reporting system that allows you to review data when you need it.
Through the evaluation and discovery process our damage research team will be in constant communication. In the early stages weekly updates are scheduled. As the process matures, monthly and quarterly roll ups mean additional opportunities for on-going communication.
